Eligibility for COBRA continuation
If an employee is pregnant and decides to quit before the baby is due (not for health reason) and continues her medical coverage through COBRA for herself only, when she delivers the baby will the baby be eligible for COBRA coverage (even though she didn't have child coverage before terminating) or will only the birth be covered and future medical claims not covered on the child because they are not eligible to elect the COBRA coverage.
