: An employee was given a random drug test. It came back as a false positive and the company terminated the employee on the spot. However they would not consider that the employee was taking several prescribed meds for a herniated disk. The employee can have the specimen retested at a cost of $150. The employer also violated several state statutes in the whole process. Is this considered "gross misconduct" in order for the company to not allow the employee to be covered under cobra? The employee does not want the job back, only the test cleared and be able to get insurance on cobra. The employee does not do any type of illegal drug, especially not the one they say was detected. Anyone know?

sheila this going to be a long an drawn out process but it is possible, but until you get your cobra extension i sent some info to your yahoo e-mail acct. about a tempory program so you can atleast get your meds and doctors app. call me the numbers is in the e-mail
