Call the Department of Labor. Your employer as 30 days from the Qualifying Event date to notify the Plan Administrator. The Plan Administrator then has 14 days to get your notice mailed out to you. If this has not happened, your former employer is not in compliance.
: I was terminated on 7/28/05. My employer has never notified me regarding Cobra. And I still have not received my Cobra information from my Plan Administrator? But I did receive a letter from HIPPA. I have tried to contact my former employer but get no response from him.
