HELP cal-cobra cancelled
When I called about a prescription 1/10/05 Kaiser told me insurance terminated 1/1/05 because they did not renew with my former employer. I had no notice, they sent me bill for January, I paid by check and they cashed it. Kaiser says they will credit money to a more expensive policy with less coverage. Former employer is now out of state and said my cal-cobra is between Kaiser and me, they dont pay after federal cobra expires. Should I have been notified in advance? Do I have any rights here. Any info appreciated. Thank You
