AIG are the biggest bunch of scumbags in the entire industry. Stay as far away from AIG as you can. Trust me, from my lessons learned you will regret your exposure to them.
They will blatently lie to you. They will do everything to keep from paying ANY type of claim, even if it is illegal. NEVER give AIG a taped statement unless they have 2 recorders and you get a copy of the original tape immediately upon the conclusion, but better yet DO NOT ever submit to a taped statement. When they transcribe it, they will leave out of the text what they don’t want in there. They are the largest insurance company in the world and it is accepted corporate procedure that they operate as though they are above the law.
They will knowingly, wilfully and maliciously allow their employees to carry out personal vendettas if you try to exercise your rights. If you ever have to deal with a Joanne Pappalardo at AIG Claim Services Boston Mass, beware she is very vindictive and will do everything she can to make it as difficult as she can for you.
DO NOT do any business with AIG and make sure any and all of your family, co-workers, friends all know to never do business with AIG
