Just becaue your ex-husband said it does not make it so. Make a written request via certifed mail return receipt requested and ask for the status of your son's coverage. Also ask for the plan document and the summary plan description.

: My ex husband, after 9 months, decided to drop his stepson from his insurance. The company is going back to date of divorce and said because it is past 60 days my son is not eligible for cobra. He does not have access to any other health insurance. He has always been on step dad's insurance. I found out he was being dropped because I called after a letter my ex sent to me. I have yet to receive any type of notice from the company. What can I do???
