can cobra overlap new group health insurance
I currently have Cobra coverage through my husband. He will be eligible for group health insurance through his new employer on the 15th of December. Will our Cobra coverage end as soon as the new coverage becomes effective, or will it continue until the end of the month?
If it continues to the end of the month does it become a secondary policy?
If it ends mid month will my Cobra rate for the month of December be pro-rated since I'm only getting 15 days of coverage?
