Cobra - Infertility - Moving out of state
My husband and I currently reside in Massachusetts, a state which mandates infertility coverage. We are moving to Pa, where it is not covered. I was just diagnosed with a congenital disorder which will make concieving and carrying a pregnancy difficult. It is cheaper for us to retain COBRA in MA and return here monthly for treatment than it will be to pay out of pocket for the uncovered procedures in PA.
My questions: Can we retain our Cobra while residing in another state? Will the fact that my husband's new job in Pa offers insurance cancel our ability to retain COBRA?
