John:

Once you get into a group plan, you no longer qualify for that partcular COBRA plan. And once you cancel your COBRA, you can't get it back unless the company voluntarily re-enrolls you (which almost never happens).

So there are 2 reasons you won't be getting COBRA from US Sprint.

If you are healthy, consider private medical coverage, it might be a lot cheaper than COBRA.

: Message: I recently used COBRA coverage after leaving Sprint in 11/01,
: now was laid off from Moneyline on 5/1/03.

: Do I get a new 18 months or is the 18 months cumulative and I only have
: the difference left of the 18 months I started COBRA coverage after
: Sprint?

: Thanks,
