My payment was mailed on the 30th not the 31st. My Cobra third party billing company told me my payments were due the last day of the month when I called in, but my bill said the 30th. I listened to them and mailed it on the 31st. The 30th was the last day of my grace period. My bill is due on the 1st of each month. I have paid for the last year on time. When I called them today they told me tough luck because it is all computerized and that they were sorry they gave me misinformation. I called the HR person from my old company, but she hasn't called me back. The third party company told me if I am cancelled I will have to file an appeal with my old company. Do you think they will cancel me? If so, what is the likelihood that I will be reinstated?
