Yes, but you have to notify the plan administrator if you resign and technically, if you enroll in a new plan or qualify for one, you would not be eligible for the COBRA insurance any longer.

If you have no or only minor pre existing conditions, get quotes for major medical coverage, it might be a lot less than COBRA.
