I would say that you may qualify for coverage up to 36 months if you have lost your "dependent child" status under the group plan rules, but you mentioned you have never had health insurance.

If you have no or only minor pre existing conditions, get quotes for major medical coverage.

: Hi,I am an 18 year-old recent High school graduate and have never had health insurance. Usually when I go to the doctor my parents or I pay out of pocket. I want to see if now that I am legally an adult and will be starting college in the fall if I am eligible to get a health care plan for myself.
