I am going to be laid off from my job soon. My wife and I really like the health plan we are on. If my next job does not offer me the same health plan, is there any problem if I elect not to go on the new company's health plan (if I was eligible and their plan did not have limits for pre-exiting conditions), and decide to stay on COBRA (the old co.'s health plan)? We would like to keep the same doctors we have been so happy with.
