Um, they have 44 days to send you notice on this. Employer has 30 days to notify adminstrator and administrator then has 14 days to notify you. You then have 60 days after the notification to elect COBRA.

Give it only took 12 days, you should consider yourself fortunate. They could have waited 44 days from June 4 and not notified you until around July 18th.

: My employer failed to send notification to me on time. My last day of company paid coverage was June 4th. The Cobra information was postmarked on June 16th. Can the company be fined for failure to notify me on a timely basis?
