Allison:

Congradulations, you don't have to work at a company, you may qualify for the COBRA insurance if your parents company had 20 or more employees or you were covered under your state's mini cobra law.

If you have no or only minor pre existing conditions, get quotes for major medical coverage, it might be a lot less than COBRA.

: I am graduating college in the next couple days, and therefore
: will not be able to get insurance under my parents policy any longer
: since I wont be a student. I should be able to get insurance in about
: three months through the temp agency I will be working with, but until
: then, I was told that I might qualify for Cobra. Is this true? I have
: not worked for a company that provided benefits yet. Please let me know
: as soon as possible whether I can get Cobra. Thanks.
