Maggie:

Your COBRA continuation insurance will include exactly the same benefits as you had when you husband was employed. Check with the benefits co-ordinator to find out if materinity is included.

: I have no idea how this works and was hoping someone would help me.

: I am 8 months pregnant. My husband lost his job a few months ago so we elected COBRA for myself to cover the pregnancy. He still has not found another job so our only source of income right now is unemployment.

: What will happen once I go into labor? Will COBRA cover my baby, under my policy, once she is born? If not, am I eligible to add her to my current policy through COBRA?

: I live in Georgia.

: Thank you for your help
: Maggie
