: I lost my job on oct 18th .made 1st cobra payment on oct 30th. : My question is when does my coverage end and when I do I make my last payment to my ex employer for cobra. The only answer I get from my employer is the coverage goes from the 1st of the month to the end of the month. Well I knew that. But what I need to know is what month am I paying for when I make a payment? : So if I pay on June 31st is this coverage for June or JUly? : Does anyone know. : I start new insurance as of august 1st it is effective. So do I need to make a payment on june 31st for July or am I done paying. : I can't seem to get a straight answer from my ex-employer on this. Also I have never gotten a receipt for anything but always paid by check. : thanks for your help. I have to figure this out within the next 3 days as we have to have insurance to cover my husbands costly scripts. : Jazz
