recently was hired at a company that told me i had benefits
effective immediately. I didn't pay my july cobra bill and now i found
out that it takes thirty days for my benefits to actually kick in.
Tomorrow is the 1st of July. I have three weeks until my other coverage
starts. Should i pay my cobra insurance for July? and if i do will i
get reinbursed for the last week in July? or is there a grace period,
for example 30 days where if something happened i would just make the
payment and still be covered instead of paying now and losing money? or
is there nothing that i could do and just not have insurance for three
weeks? and if i have to pay by tomorrow can i call up and leave a credit
card number? Please advise.
