My wife's former employer changed their cobra billing administrator effective july 1 2003. We did not get notice of this until after we sent the premium to to the old biller.Their notice said that all payments sent to the old would be sent on to the new biller. Now coverage is suspended until the payment is forwarded to the new biller but they are not sending them until the end of july. My wife needs about 7k in healthcare this month, I do out of pocket. Can they do this? If I don't have any benefits what happened to my payment?
Who is responsible for this?
