Had Insurance through my wife's employer.
Company went banckrupt and just fired all employees.

The company did not tell anyone it hasn't been paying the company policy since May 1st.

I found out about this accidentally (from a doctor's call) on June 28.

My wife is 8 months pregnant.

I heard the law is that if you apply within 63 days they can'y reject you for pre-existing condition.

My employer was nice enough to put me on his corporate plan with Oxford. However, they are now telling me they will reject me since I did not submit application within 31 days of loss of coverage.

What really is the law? what should i do?
