This is not really a COBRA issue. There are state laws concerning the cancellation of group health insurance. Your 63 days has technically past to enroll in another plan. What did you former employer do with your portion of the premiums for May and June?

They either owe you some health coverage or have to give you your portion of the premium back. They can't have it both ways. Check with your state's department of insurance or commerce department.

You can also find out if your state offers a subsidized health plan for expectant mothers (many do). Research if you belong to any professional associations or your chamber of commerce, if they have group health insurance.

: Had Insurance through my wife's employer.
: Company went banckrupt and just fired all employees.

: The company did not tell anyone it hasn't been paying the company policy since May 1st.

: I heard the law is that if you apply within 63 days they can'y reject you for pre-existing condition.

: My employer was nice enough to put me on his corporate plan with Oxford. However, they are now telling me they will reject me since I did not submit application within 31 days of loss of coverage.
