They have to send you the form within 44 days of your qualifying event. If you lost your health insurance 4 weeks ago, they still have 2 weeks to send you the COBRA notification.

Is there a law that gives timelines on when I should receive my COBRA packet? I have a family, and doctors appointments this week. Please help.
