No you should be allright, as long as you don't have a claim! And then, you would simply send in the paperwork and premium to get reimbursed for your covered medical expenses.

: My new employer will activate health insurance in 30 days of starting my new job, tomorrow. Currently I am covered to the end of the month. Is it required to elect the COBRA plan for my family and myself since it is less than 45 days that my insurance will lapse.
