: My husband was just let go of his job after over a year of emploment. I am 6 months pregnent, and his boss termintaed our insurance 1 week after he was let go. I cant get picked up with any plan since I have a pre-existing condition. He tells us he doesnt have to offer any cobra because his company is under 20 people. I found out about this mini-cobra law, How does it work? How much time do I have to pay the first months payment? Is it the same at the cobra law with 60 days to decide? How can I get his boss to give this to us when he is being very strong about not having to give us anything? Please help.
