Yes, I would follow up with the company and see if they are going to cash your check as the law allows.

: When I was terminated from my job, the company CFO advised that I would be receiving Cobra information in the mail from another company. I did in fact receive this information within the 14 days outlined elsewhere on your site. The timeframe for the other company to receive my form and payment was 09/01/03. According to the U.S. Postal service certified mail tracker, my payment and forms arrived at the company on 08/29/03. It has now been 12 days since they have received the check. It has not been cashed and I don’t seem to have any indication from this company that it has been received by them. I have called them three times and emailed them three times and have not received any word from them. Should I be concerned?
