"Although COBRA specifies certain maximum required periods of time that
continued health coverage must be offered to qualified beneficiaries,
COBRA does not prohibit plans from offering continuation health coverage
that goes beyond the COBRA periods."
It was my understanding that COBRA could not be extended. Are you making a general reference to the new provisions? Am employee interpreted this
to mean it was a discretionary decision of the employer. Can you please advise. thanks
