Well did the employer have 20 or more total employees working the previous year? Where are they located? Was she a participant for at least one day in the group health insurance plan?

And is the new employer continuing the old group health plan? She has to answer these questions to determine if she is eligible for COBRA.

If she is, notify her health plan adminstrator, or get private health insurance.

: I have a friend whos empolyer died and they sold the business. She though the new owners were going to keep her on. They Let her go as soon as the papers were sign. Is she still elligable for corba? And who is responsable for the ins.
