I have been on COBRA since getting laid off in May 2003. I have been making my COBRA payment usually by the 1st of each month if not before. I asked my ex-employer how late I can send a payment and still be covered. They did not get back to me on this.

Also what determines the 'due date'?

Can you please tell me how much 'grace period' of time I have to pay before they can terminate my COBRA insurance?
