COBRA offers you a 30 day grace period from the day your payment is due, however, if your grace period overlaps the next grace period, you are no longer in a grace period but have missed two COBRA payments and must request to be reinstated.

: I have been on COBRA since getting laid off in May 2003. I have been making my COBRA payment usually by the 1st of each month if not before. I asked my ex-employer how late I can send a payment and still be covered. They did not get back to me on this.
