My COBRA expires at the end of the month. My unemployment benefits expired a week ago. For the last year and a half I had two surgeries (colon cancer) and I have to do a chemotherapy (once a week) for another four months.
I was told that since I have a recurring medical treatment my COBRA cannot be terminated in the middle of it and should be extended for another 18 months. Is that so? If yes, what should I do to extend it?
