COBRA and Medicare Part D
If an employee has Medicare and COBRA, I know that COBRA is primary. What happens if (when the COBRA runs out after 18 months) the employee wants to enroll in medicare part D? Will they be able to do so and will the Rx coverage be creditable so that they wont have to pay a higfher rate for Medicare Part D?
