I am preparing to take a leave of abscense, and my benefits will be dicontinued for that period, but I was informed that I will be covered under COBRA. I will be travelling abroad for most of the leave,so I will purchase travel insurance for that. I will be doing some travelling prior to leaving the country however, and I want to be
covered for that small period. I understand that COBRA would cover me retroactively if I should need it during the beginning of my trip, but can I limit the coverage period to the time before I leave the country?
