My former employer is only allowing 17 cal. days to elect COBRA. Is this legal? My last day of work was 11/7/03. coverage termination date: 11/30/03. Date of Notice from former employer: 11/10/03. Which date do I use to caculate 60 days to elect COBRA and does the employer have a right to demand response prior to 60 days?
