I'm currently covered under my employer's group health care plan and my company may be switching providers at the end of the year. If, before the end of the year, my hours are reduced to a level where I am no longer benefit eligible, will I be able to COBRA into my current health care plan or will I have to take on the company's new plan, which will begin at the start of next year? Is it up to the company to decide, or is there a law that states that the plan you had when you lost health benefits, is the plan you must COBRA into?

Thanks
