I am out on medical disability leave and don't know when I will or if I will be able to return to work. I live in SC and my work has less than 20 employees, I was told they do not have to offer me Cobra. Since this does not cost them anything why can't I pick up this group ins. on my own at the same rate directly from BCBS. I have been employed there over 5 years , any help would be appreciated.
