COBRA administrators usually charge a 2% admin fee which results in an increase in premiums. However, COBRAserve should have notified you and you can use your bank records as proff of payment. Since COBRAserve probaly forwards yoru payment to your former company it should really be an issue worked out between the two of them...you shouldn't ahve to worry about it. That said I would communicate to COBRAserve the documentation ofpayment made or get on the phones withbothe htem and your previouos employer
