Last month my former employer called and said he hadn't received my monthly payment and was going to terminate my COBRA. I quickly looked up my checking account records and found out the check had deposited two weeks before. Everything was OK and that was that. He also told me that he wanted me to send the check in earlier for the next month. Well that next month is this month, I sent the check in on the 3rd, and here it is the 14th and it still has not deposited. He may very well call again and say he didn't get it. I shouldn't have to play this cat and mouse game. What should I do if this pattern continues? Because they can't find it or take care of the check on time I should be harassed?
