I worked for a co. for 23 yrs and was suddenly fired. I did then receive COBRA benefits and 2 years later I then hired by an affiliate of the original company and worked there for 2 years. Now they have let me go and are saying I cannot have COBRA benefits because I already did through the parent company. Is this correct?
