Last day of coverage before cobra?
I was let go ffrom my employer on 11/2/04 and had the company health insurance and was paid up. So I assumed that I had coverage until 12/2/04 then I would be hearing from COBRA, I did not hear anything until after I had no medical coverage I recieved certified letter on 12/1/04 that my insurance was done on 11/30/04. before I recieved the letter on the 12/1/04 I ended up going to the clinic thinking I had insurance. Doesn't the employer have to send the information before you are out of insurance so that you don' haVE ANY LASPED TIME IN COVERAGE???
