Help. I am in between jobs and not covered by cobra due to my last employer being under 20 employees. I had surgery (two weeks ago) in the last week of my employment and am concerned about preexisting clauses. I am starting a new job in a new state in two months and will have group coverage then. The reason I am not on sick leave with my current (former) employer is because they dissolved their corporation and regrouped under a new name. Does anyone out there have any advice?
