45 days from the termination or qualifying event date.
You can always try and qualify for private health insurance.
: I was terminated on 2/17 and told I would receive information (in writing) within two weeks on Cobra coverage. I had to call my former employer on 4/6 and request this information. What are the timeframes to notify a person of the Cobra coverage.
