Your husband will have to inform his plan administrator about the divorce and remove you from his plan. They will then send you the COBRA paperwork that says how much it will be each month. It is determined by each plan's premiums so there is no way for us to know. The maximum COBRA period for loss of coverage due to a divorce is 36 months. As the qualified beneficiary the COBRA coverage would be under your name, if done properly.
