I was working for a company w/ less than 15 employees. I had insurance for 19 months. When I was no longer w/ the company, not only did I not get my cobra option, but learned my insurance was cancelled as of 4 days before I was no longer with the company.
Georgia Cobra Mini-laws specify for companies of 2 to 19 employees to give a cobra option for 3 months, but I don't know who regulates this as EEOC, from what I'm reading, covers companies of 20 + employees. Can any one tell me what regulatory agency covers the mini- laws.
Thanks
