My employer terminated me for trying to start my own business and cancalled my Cobra insurance under the terms of Gross Misconduct claiming I tried to steal clients. I was trying tto aid both client and my former employer with my business deal but they did not what my help and fired me and immediately terminated my Cobra. What can I do to get my insurance coverage? Are they required to prove Gross Misconduct before terminating my insurance?
I want to know if They had the right to terminated my Cobra because per what I read on Cobra if they terminated my unfairly I can suit them for my insurance.
