COBRA insurance is continuous coverage. You have coverage during your grace period as long as you pay, and the grace period doesn't overlap a new due date (the 1st) making you two months in arrears.

Get your own health coverage, it may be much cheaper than COBRA. Also keep in mind the benefits may differ greatly.

: Hello,

: I understand that when I first elect cobra insurance I have 45 days to agree and I belive 30 days to pay. that payment must include all previous months up to date and then I get re-instated back to the original start date.

: Then I understand I make my payments by the first of each month, but actually I have a 30 day grace period to make the payment.

: My qustion is:

: during that 30 day period (before my check is received) am I removed from coverage until the payment is made and then re-instated ?

: Thank You
