: Our company is doing away with our health insurance and one of the employees has just been diagonosed with Cancer and is starting treatment for it. The company has canceled our Insurance and it will terminate the 31 of May. This employee knows another insurance co. is not going to pick him up. He called our current company and tried to continue his policy on his own and was turned down by the Insurance Company. Is this Legal? What is his next option?
