COBRA has received my payment for 2 months, about $600, and cashed the check over 60 days ago, but has not yet entered me in their system. Termination of my spouse occured on Feb. 29, and I did not receive any COBRA info until mid-April. I sent the application and 2 months payment immediately. All of my claims, including Rx, are denied. This continues despite multiple calls to COBRA and promises that I will be entered into the system. I also owe another payment by now (for May), but have not received any payment information or a contract...nothing. I am unsure what to do next. Another week (end of May) and they may well notify me that I am denied claims due to late payment of over 30 days! Please advise. What is the best and easiest route to resolve this problem?
