My father passed away in 2001. My mother was not offered COBRA as spouse until we made it clear to company that she was entitled to coverage under law. It has been a very hard battle with company to provide services. Now they sent note to terminate coverage as of 7/1/04. Can they leagally cancel coverage before 36 months?
Any help appreciated because company will not offer any assistance on COBRA coverage. They will not provide book showing benefits under plan.
But they do cash the check every month.
Thanks,
Karla
