We all get statements in the mail. Whether it be from our cable company or electric company they ALWAYS send invoices when it's time to pay. If no payment then letters and phone calls follow.
Why doesn't Cobra follow this etiquette? Just because they are not required by law to send invoices then why not? Also if an account is about to be terminated why not a phone call or letter to warn?
My mother was recently terminated from Cobra because of "untimely payments" SHe didnt recieve the invoices on time, so how would she know to pay? I know NOW it says on the invoices termination, but geez she has every intention of paying the bills.
My father, her husband for 40 years, always paid the bills via invoices has passed away. She even offered to pay the full balance in advance, but still "no possibility of reinstatement"
Why so harsh?
